while opening MATLAB on Linux i get this error " License checkout failed. License Manager Error -9 Your username does not match the username in the license file. To run MATLAB on this computer, you must run the Activation client to reactivate your license.
Diagnostic Information: Feature: MATLAB License path: /root/.matlab/R2015b_licenses:/usr/local/MATLAB/R2015b/licenses/license.dat:/usr/local/MATLAB/R2015b /licenses/license_localhost_358442_R2015b.lic Licensing error: -9,57. "
but it's already activated.
any solutions?

hm... that's weird. As long as you activate the software as the same user as is going to use it later, it should be ok. Have a look at the license file given in the error, i.e. "<your MATLAB folder>/licenses/...". At least for me, the licensed user name is in the filename. Maybe that will give you a hint. Otherwise, I'm afraid I have no better idea than to refer you to Walter's link below. If that still does not work, contact Mathworks, their support tends to be pretty good :).
