HMM training and image processing

Hi everybody,

I am trying to train HMM classifier for activity recognition, I found it is more complex than others.

there are many types of it (HMMcode, HMMtraining, HMMgenerate ...etc.)? and there are expressions like states and emission, are those indicate to the class and the dataset, I mean in my situation is the state indicates to the activity class and the emission is the dataset or the observed data?

would you please give me any interested advice to get start with this classifier.

I ve found the HMMtrain in mathwork website but I can't know what those expressions mean in activity recognition.
