Tuning PID using genetic algorithm

i required to tune pid controller by using genetic algorithm in simulink. for that, i given input as an error to genetic algorithm. I want output as a gain values Kp,Ki,Kd. I dont know the proper procedure to attain optimized gain values. */ anyone know how to write m-code for this problem, pls help me....
