how can i plot 3-dimensional data

Starter at Matlab. Anyone can help me on this?
I need to plot salinity in a 2_D or 3-D image. How can i do that?

One possible first step is to look at the plots in the MATLAB Plot Gallery, and see if any of the plots are close to the style that you think you need. Then, you can copy the code from there and modify to suit your situation.
