how to find the difference between the energies in lower frequency band and higher frequency band?

i built the edge oriented histogram of an image and i dont know how to find the difference between the energies in lower frequency band and higher frequency band from this histogram?anyone who know about this help me.

If you have N counts for a single frequency bin that runs from F1 to F2, then how much energy does that represent?
