The procedure is the same for R2015a as for R2015b. The procedure has been the same since R2014a; there is a different package for R2011a to R2013b.
You can also get the support package at http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/47522-matlab-support-package-for-arduino%C2%AE-hardware
(Note: adding on support packages does not work for my R2014a Mac version.)
