Is there Simulink Ping Equivalent ?

I am doing a project in Simulink where we are transmitting UDP data between a PC and a controller. The UDP part is working great. The transmission between two devices is random so I wanted away of being able to test the link regularly just to make sure that I still have a connection instead of having to wait for a failure of the control UDP message.

Is there a way of doing the equivalent of the ping command in Simulink ??
