How to carry data to next push button in GUI

Hello, I am new to matlab. I am using 3 push buttons in GUI and one editable text for user input. 1st is to select time from excel sheet next to select data from same excel sheet. After giving one user input in editable text box and clicking 3rd push button remaining code runs to give output.
So, when i click 3rd button it says data and time to be undefined variables.
How can I overcome this?

Aditya - just use the handles structure to manage the data that is created from one push button callback so that the others will be able to access it to. See http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/179265-how-to-pass-a-struct-between-callbacks-in-gui for an example of this. Also, see guidata for more details.
