To apply Gaussian in histogram?

Is there any function already defined in Matlab to apply gaussian to the histogram???

Dear I guess you have histogram and you want to apply gaussian weight to it. If it is so then let say you have Histogram H. then you can apply with Gaussian weight like this.

H.*fspecial('gaussian', size(H),1.2)

you can tune 1.2 as you like.

If you want to generate random number whose histogram is Gaussian shaped, check randn. Otherwise, could you clarify what you mean by applying Gaussian to the histogram?
