Issue with MATLAB‑Generated PowerPoint Slides

I am encountering a problem when trying to format a picture that I insert into a PowerPoint slide generated from MATLAB using the Report Generator toolbox, mlreportgen.ppt? Specifically, I cannot apply a solid border around the image.

I’ve attached a MATLAB script that creates a figure and inserts it into the presentation. I’ve tried several approaches (e.g., setting the BorderColor, BorderWidth, and using a PictureStyle), but none of them produce any border, they appears to be ignored. I have tried vers 2022a and 2025a.

Could someone advise on the correct way to add a solid, colored border to an image in a PPT slide.
