Matlab 2025b display problem

I have matlab 2025b, I had an update notification. I run the update. Then an error occured. Now When I start matlab I see nothing but a window with a black background.

I tried restarting computer, cleaned matlab cache, reinstalling matlab. Nothing works.

When I run matlab from command window with the -nodesktop flag, it opens a terminal window, but when I run desktop in this window I get again a matlab window with black background.

Run this in that MATLAB terminal window and then try again

restoredefaultpath
rehash toolboxcache

What operating system are you using?

I am using windows 11. In the end I installed 2024b version which works fine.

Why did you do that when all you had to do was to call technical support and let them solve the problem with R2025b?
