Assign Apps Toolbar Icon

Hi,

How can the icon tha appears when installing a custom app (ARES) be modified? I have tried specifying the file as thumbnail, in the UIFigure properties, and in the project toolbox. The icon appears as the window icon when running the app and in the adds on but not in the app toolbar. (R2025a)

I faced the same issue in R2025a — the icon shows in the window but not in the App Toolbar. I suggest contacting MathWorks Technical Support for further help.

I tried specifying the icon here but had no success. The app was first created in a previous version of MATLAB (I believe R2024a) with the interface you mentioned, and it worked. I've manually created the folder containing the resources folder with the corresponding icons but it did not help. Is there a way to clear up the icon here to start the process again?

Arnold, no I was not able to resolve it. I am guessing it is a bug that comes from the UI changes going on but haven't tried to generate the icon again since then.
