Use Conduit Interface in HDL Coder

If I have a reference design that includes an IP core with a Conduit interface, how can I reference these signals in HDL coder? For example, in your documentation: https://www.mathworks.com/help/hdlcoder/ug/define-and-register-custom-board-and-reference-design-for-intel-soc-workflow.html#d126e141326 there is a Conduit interface exported as hps_0_hps_io. How would I be able to reference these signals from Simulink?
