Greetings,
I want to rotate the contents of my attached figure by 45 degrees clockwise, but I want the x- and y-axes to remain unchanged (x-axis remains horizontal, y-axis remains vertical). The contents in the figure (aerials, shapes, and scattered points) would rotate and the grid lines should also rotate, but not the axes. So the y value on the lower left side of the x-axis would be equal to 727,500, and the value on the right side would be 728,000 or something. Similarly, the x value on the on the bottom of the y-axis would equal 959,000, and the value at the top of the axis would equal 960,000 or something.
Does anyone know how I can do this? Thxxxxx!

I was playing with the rotate function but actually wasn't able to get it to do anyting in my figure, and the examples I've seen suggest, I think, that the function will rotate the objects in your figure but leave the axes unchanged. I basically need to vary the y values along the x-axis and vary the x values along the y-axis....

I'm looking for a way to code something like what's depicted in the attached image.
The grid has been rotated such that north is pointing towards the upper left-hand side. The x axis remains horizontal and the y-axis remains vertical. Once I rotate the grid this way, I want to plot scatter points and various patch shapes.
