Using Structures

I'm new to Simulink and I'm hoping there is an easy answer I am just missing it. I've been looking on forums and everywhere I can think of for weeks, but without success. Is there a way to pass complex, dynamic structures in Simulink without having to create a bus that matches the structure? Maybe a different way to put it is, how can I use MATLAB or C+ objects in Simulink?

Sorry, AFAIK, you do need to use buses to use structures as signals in Simulink.
