How to restore App designer's default layout

Hello? I have an issue with app designer.

There should be a "component library" and "component browser" at app-designer's both sides, but I can't find them at all.

I went to MATLAB setting to restore default layout for app designer, and I wasn't able to find such option. I also re-installed MATLAB, but to no avail.

Added) I also used command called clearPersonalValue to clear user defined settings for app designer[1][2], but it didn't worked out.

I appreciate you for your kind attention to this issue and if possible, would you help me, please..?

I would try the dropdown menu in the top right of your window. Select Restore

Please share your *.mlapp file. You can attach it to your post using the paperclip icon.

Also, what version of MATLAB are you using?

My MATLAB version is "R2023a", and I've attached the *.mlapp file as you requested.

However, I was able to fix it by removing "MATLAB" folder (within C-drive's program folder) AFTER un-installing MATLAB.

By re-installing MATLAB after deleting "MATLAB" folder, it came back as usual.

But, I couldn't find the "Restore" menu from the dropdwon toolbar.

You need to minimize the component library or the component browser in order for Restore to appear as an option in this menu.

I restored it by deleting "MATLAB" folder before I re-install the MATLAB.

Another workaround fo this issue is deleting AppDesignerMainPanelLayout.json file under MATLAB predir folder and restart MATLAB.
