Hello, I am utilizing Simscape Multibody to model a virtual environment which I am representing using the Rigid Terrain Grid Surface block. I am wondering if it is possible to map a texture to this surface (i.e. a 2D image on the 3D surface), or if I am only limited to having it as all one colour. If this is possible what steps would I have to take in order to achieve this.
Thanks!

At the moment, you are limited to one color. Other Simscape Multibody users have modified the colors of peaks on the surface by scaling the data in the z-direction, inserting a second Surface block and using the scaled data with a different color. Obviously this won't be as nice as a textured surface, but for some simple use cases it might be enough.
