How can I access and use fzero? Do I have to pay something, get a licence ... or?

The fzero function is a core MATLAB function, so no special Toolbox is required to use it.
If you do not have MATLAB, you would need to buy it and get a license for it first in order to download and install it. The type of license depends on your particular situation (student, etc.). It would be best for you to Contact Support for more information in that regard.
