Stream sensor data to Web app Server

Very new to MatLab tools, would like to stream data from mobile device (IOS or Android) to a Web server for statistical display. Working through documentation, wondering if there are any process diagrams that might highlight how such a function would operate.

Thank you Manas that's very helpful. The one item not covered is the connectivity from a mobile device to a specific Web App server other than a general login by the user. I'm considering an app that will allow for an anonymous multi-user environment that can upload sensor data to target file.
