I have a stand-alone object oriented code that, using Simulink, generates a state space dynamics model, then calculates the frequency response at different points. I want to be able to use App Designer numeric text boxes as inputs to this code, have a button to run the code, then have the plots be presented in the app window. Is there a way to do this? I don't want to copy and paste my stand-alone code into app designer, although I know that would work.

Hi, it is possible to do this without using app-designer. You can get this behaviour by using UIFigure components.
In the link below, refer to the "Code Response to Button Click" section. It creates a button which makes a plot when clicked
To get text boxes as input, you can refer to the below link. Combining these two should solve your problem
Hope this helps
