Tooltip boxes won't disappear

Hi folks,

When a warning box like the screenshot attached pops up, it simply never goes away. This would be pretty trivial, but it keeps covering up all my tabs. I have to restart Matlab. I'd like to either disable these boxes altogether or learn some trick to make them disappear.

I'm on Matlab R2014a.
