How should I build a 32-bit application on a 64-bit machine? I am using R2010a and Visual Studio 2008 on Windows 7. The application will be run on a 32-bit machine.

Hi,
you have to install a 32bit MATLAB in order to generate a 32bit application. You can't generate a 32bit applicaion out of a 64bit MATLAB. Running a 32bit MATLAB on a 64bit system is officially supported with R2010b and higher:
