Unexpected behaviour in MATLAB GUI

Hi guys

I have made a GUI in MATLAB. Normally it works fine but sometimes it gives errors at certain places which is totally unexpected as it runs fine on those lines usually. Also, when I run the code with 'Stop on errors' it works absolutely fine without showing any error or stopping all the time. I am confused.

Its not specific. It stops at any point! Sometimes the problem is handles aren't being passed from one function to another. Sometimes the listbox doesn't get updated.
