Determining Host ID

How do I determine a machine's Host ID? I need to deactivate a machine, but I don't know which one to deactivate

Not really :(

I have the same problem. I can see the Host IDs of the devices on which I have Matlab, but none of them corresponds to any MAC address of the device where I know that Matlab is activated. I want to deactivate it on a computer on which I don't have access to anymore, and I don't want to risk deactivating it on the one I am currently using, but I have no clue how to match computer to Host ID. As I said, it's not the MAC address for me.

Does someone have other ideas?

I had a similar problem.

In my case (Windows 10 / windows 11) I found the HOST ID in the license file under: C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2024b\licenses. This way I found the IDs of all computers where I still need MATLAB.
