use of blockproc function

sir [when i use blockproc i got the follwing error..how to overcome this?

??? Subscripted assignment dimension mismatch.

Error in ==> blkproc at 89 aa(border(1)+(1:ma),border(2)+(1:na)) = a;

Error in ==> blockpr at 6 B=blkproc(I,[8 8],fun)

Are you using blockproc()? Why does it say blkproc? I think that's the old version. How old is your version of MATLAB? What is fun?
