Search access database through matlab

How can i access Microsoft access database through matlab and search a table , or is it possible to execute a query directly and returns its output into matlab !!?

I can't give specific help.
I imagine that you can directly interface with microsoft access via activex. You will need a working knowledge of Microsoft Access's underlying visual basic to be able to figure it all out.
