I am using matlab function ' fir1(48, [0.5 3 ])' . But there is an error as 'Frequencies must fall in range between 0 and 1' . Anybody can help me ?

I want to design a IIR filter butterworth bandpass filter which of [0.5 3].

the cut off frequency is in the range [0 1], you divide fc : fc/Fs, per example, the sampling frequency iq Fs=40Hz , and the fc=10Hz, you put 0.25 as the argument .
