Hello,
i have a huge simulink model and if i wanna follow a signal i have the problem that many subsystems are highlighted because the bus with that signal is going there which is good so far.
The only thing is that many subsystems are selected even if the signal is not selected in the end. I could find out if a signal is not used much faster if the corresponding subsystem wouldnt be selected if the bus selector inside doesnt use the signal. Is this possible somehow?
I hope so, and thx for any help!

This is a very good question. I am also searching for an answer for this. How to select only the subsystems that have buses in which the signal is selected in the end?
If anybody knows, it will be highly appreciated! Thank you!

I have a workaround for signal trace, please download the attached file, unzip and copy to your work path, you'll find two more menu in your context menu when you right click on signal line, use it you'll see the bus selector which the signal not be used will not be highlighted. i test it on 2014b, it works, and i heard that this function should add to 2017a, so it good news for user who need handle huge size model.
