Radio Setup

Connect and set up your radio and manage radio setup configurations

Since R2022a

Description

Before you can start interacting with RF signals using Wireless Testbench™ features and a supported NI™ USRP™ radio, you must set up your radio using the Radio Setup wizard. For a list of supported radios, see Supported Radio Devices.

The Radio Setup wizard enables you to perform these tasks:

  • Set up your radio for use in Wireless Testbench.

  • Save a radio setup configuration under a name.

  • List all saved radio setup configurations.

  • Update, delete, or revalidate saved radio setup configurations.

For a video walkthrough, see Radio Setup Walkthrough.

You use the name of the saved radio configuration later to configure your radio for use with the following Wireless Testbench objects:

You do not require a saved radio setup configuration for the following Wireless Testbench System objects and blocks:

Note

You cannot save a radio setup configuration if:

  • You are using a Mac operating system (OS).

  • Your radio is a USRP N300 or USRP X300.
