Launch and Complete Hardware Setup

After installing the support package, the next step is to launch the hardware setup process. The support package provides a guided hardware setup that helps you through configuring your device and installing any required third-party tools. You can initiate the hardware setup using one of the following methods:

Launch Immediately After Installing Support Package

Click Setup Now after installing the support package.

This will open the Hardware Setup screens, which will guide you step-by-step through the configuration and installation process. It is recommended to complete the hardware setup at this stage to ensure your environment is ready for use.

Complete Hardware Setup

In the Hardware Setup screens, follow the on-screen instructions. Click Next as you proceed through each step. It is recommended to complete the hardware setup at this stage, as you will need to finish this process before you can start using Simulink with your ArduPilot hardware.

Launch Setup Later

If you have already installed the support package and chose to setup later, open the Add-Ons panel by clicking Add-Ons > Manage Add-Ons in Environment section of the Home tab.

From the Add-Ons screen, you can locate the UAV Toolbox Support Package for ArduPilot® Autopilots and click Setup to launch the Hardware Setup screens at your convenience.

This method lets you start the hardware setup at your preferred time.
