smoothc.mat

Smooths a 2D matrix using a cosine taper function.

Usage:
mO=smoothc(mI,Nr,Nc)
mI=input matrix
Nr=number of rows included in smoothing function
Nc=number of columns included in smoothing function
mO=output array, smoothed

Intended as an example of using a kernel to smooth an image. With minimal changes, the user may implement another kernel.
