Standalone GUI from Simulink MDL

Is it possible to create a standalone GUI (with MATLAB Compiler) that interfaces code that is generated from a Simulink MDL (with Simulink Coder but without Embedded Coder)?

Unfortunately, It is not possible to do this without the use of Embedded Coder. Here is an example of how one would go about doing it given the proper set of toolboxes:
