Repeat Output at each Trigger

I'm using the Data Acquisition Toolbox and I was hoping to do the following:

Queue data using putdata Repeat the output each time the device is triggered using a hardware trigger

The RepeatOutput property will not accomplish this because this simply repeats the output immediately. I need the device to wait for another trigger before repeating the output.

I also tried queuing the data multiple times with putdata, and then using the TriggerRepeat property, but apparently this only works for analog input devices, not output.

Info: My DAQ device is an NI USB6259 BNC I'm triggering with a microcontroller

I'd prefer not to have to issue calls to putdata each time because of the delay (why I'm using a microcontroller in the first place).

Any help would be much appreciated.
