Error using mex (line 206) Unable to complete successful

Hi my problem is when I try to use mex and the (yes) and (no) dialogue appears no compiler on my system is found. But that can't be the case since I have Visual Studio 2015 installed and running (V. 14.0). I tried to install SDK 7.1, but this does not work either because my .NET Framework seems to be higher than 4.0.

What reasons could there be for matlab to not recognize the already installed compilers?

Which Matlab version are you using? Does the documentation claim, that installing the SDK is obligatory? If so, it is obligatory and when you do not install it successfully, you cannot use the compiler. The topic of installing MSVC compilers for Matlab has been discussed dozens of times in this forum, because it is not trivial. Did you search in teh forum already? Even asking an internet search engine for "Matlab install SDK 7.1" would be useful.

I am using Matlab R2013a. I already looked at every thread I found so far, but it did not really help me. I installed every SDK there is, so even if it is obligatory it should work. And you need some kind of compilere so I guess it is right?

None of them is recognized by matlab.
