Save history as regular text instead of xml?

Hello,

Is it possible to stop matlab from using xml to save session history? I typically store session histories as archives which I then search using custom perl/bash scripts, as needed. Having the history saved in xml impacts this. I would like to revert to pre-R2014 behavior. Is this possible?

You may not be able to save the command history in .m format from MATLAB R2014a.
