Error while using 'smimport' function

i have installed simscape multibody successfully, however when using the function 'smiport', i get this error

Error: File: smimport.m Line: 180 Column: 1

This statement is not inside any function.

(It follows the END that terminates the definition of the function "smimport".)

i found question and answers for this problem but non of answers worked with me ,please guidance

Anyhow, i have solved this problem by reinstalling the simscape toolbox
