Can anybody help me simulating a vector control modulation for inverters?

I have to create a vector selection algorithm to generate a reference voltage like in the article I have attached. Can anyone help me, please?

I don't know how I can create the hexagons in Matlab and check where is the reference voltage. Help me please!
