Simulink- Battery discharge constant load

Dear All,
i want to apply a constant load on a battery in a Simulink model.
for example, i have a load of 45 watt and a lead acid battery. i want to model the system performance in a specific time
Thanks

Do you have the SimPowerSystems toolbox? It includes an example.

in the example the battery is connected to a DC machine but i want to connect my battery to a block with a constant load of a certain power

If you don't want the DC machine you can remove it.
There is already a load in the model. It is a current source. Currently it is set to be a constant current (50A), but you could set this to anything you want. Perhaps you want something like I(t)=P/V(t), where P is the known power you want and V(t) is the voltage of the battery which is already calculated to be fed into the scope.
