The Data Acquisition Toolbox does not recognize my PCI-DAC6703 board

I'm trying to acquire data from a PCI-DAC6703 board using MATLAB 2010a and Data Acquisition Toolbox version 2.16. Unfortunately, MATLAB does not recognize the board. When running the command daqhwinfo MATLAB just returns 'parallel' and 'winsound' as the installed adapters.
Do I need to install a certain driver to make MATLAB recognize the board?

An old version of InstaCal (5.57) was installed on the computer. I installed the newest version (6.10) and now MATLAB finds the mcc adapter.

You device is supported:
http://www.mathworks.com/products/daq/supportedio14004.html#PCI
and should work with Data Acquisition Toolbox. Did you intall all drivers for the device? Can you use it from other software?
The documentation mentions nothing more regarding hardware setup steps:
