xPC Target Explorer Error: Attempting to access the property or method of an invalid object

When I use xPC target explorer to connect the xPC target,it always returned the following errors: Attempting to access the property or method of an invalid object; Then I run "xpctest" in MATLAB command window,it stoped with the following information: ### xPC Target v5.2 Test Suite ### Host-Target interface is: RS-232 on COM2 ### Test 1, Ping target PC 'TargetPC1' using system ping: ... SKIPPED ### Test 2, Ping target PC 'TargetPC1' using xpctargetping: ...Error using xpctest (line 334) error calling xpctargetping I used RS232 to connect the host and target,what's wrong with the xPC target? There may be an issue with your RS232 setup. Are you sure you are using a NULL Modem cable? Without this, you won't be able to connect to the target.
