SIMULINK signals and parameters

Is there any way I can select my constants in SIMULINK to be a parameter or signal when moving to code generation?

I vagulely remember that a menu option can be used to say whether or not the selected signal/parameter/subsystem is treated as input ports or constant parameters when generating code from it. Does anyone know what that is?
