Ethernet

Model-based communications with Ethernet protocol

Ethernet is a low-level network protocol that interconnects computers and other devices in local area networks. For more information about the Ethernet standard, see www.iso.org .

To communicate over a network with low-level (raw) Ethernet, use the Ethernet protocol blocks. The blocks connect to Intel® Ethernet interfaces (devices) in the target computer. For information about the Ethernet interfaces (devices) in your target computer, see the Speedgoat® documentation for your target computer.

See Apply 802.1Q VLAN Tag by Using Ethernet Send and Receive Blocks.
