Set TCP/IP port number for external mode communication

Description

Use the Port parameter to set the TCP/IP port number that external mode uses for communication between the host computer and Raspberry Pi®. The port number must be in the range 1024 to 65535.

The host computer and target hardware must use the same port number to establish an external mode connection.

Dependencies

To enable this parameter, set Communication interface to TCP/IP or XCP on TCP/IP.

Settings

17725 (default) | integer from 1024 to 65535

Enter the TCP/IP port number for external mode communication.

Default port number for external mode communication between the host computer and Raspberry Pi.

Custom value

Specify a port number from 1024 to 65535. Ensure the port does not conflict with other services running on the target hardware or the host computer.
