Syntax

daqsupport

daqsupport(vendor)

daqsupport(vendor,fileName)

Description

daqsupport returns diagnostic information for all supported devices connected to the local machine. The function saves the output text to the file daqtest.txt in the current folder and opens the file in the editor for viewing.

daqsupport(vendor) returns diagnostic information for all the devices of the specified vendor connected on the local machine.

daqsupport(vendor,fileName) saves the text output to the file specified in fileName in the current folder.

Save Diagnostic Information to Specified File

daqsupport("ni","myNIDiagFile.txt")

Input Arguments

vendor — Device vendor

"ni" | "adi" | "mcc" | "directsound" | "digilent"

Device vendor, specified as one of these IDs.

• "ni": National Instruments™

• "adi": Analog Devices^®

• "mcc": Measurement Computing™

• "directsound": Microsoft^® DirectSound

• "digilent": Digilent^®

Data Types: char | string

fileName — Filename for output text

"daqtest.txt" (default) | character vector | string

Filename for output text, specified as a character vector or string.
