About the Presenter

Ruixue(Christine) Li – is a Senior Application Engineer specializing in Control and Model-Based Design. She joined MathWorks in 2020 and supports dynamic system modeling, control design and code generation for a variety of industries, including Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Automotive, etc... Christine Li holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University with a focus on advanced control theory and application in Automotive. She has experience working with Ford and ISUZU North America Research Center on powertrain system modeling and predictive control, Kalman filter design and adaptive control for diesel engines, robust control for vehicle suspension system noise cancellation.

Mohsen Aleenejad has joined MathWorks as a Senior Application Engineer in 2020. He supports customers from Energy and Power areas as well as Industrial Automation with a focus on Power Electronics and Power System applications. Mohsen has a Ph.D. in Power electronics from the University of Kansas, where he specialized in modeling and control of multi-level power converters and fault tolerant operation of power electronics systems. Later, he started a Postdoctoral Researcher position with New York University, where he was collaborating with Boeing Company on building an Active Load Profiler for testing the Aircraft's power sources. Before joining MathWorks, he was working as a senior power electronics engineer with a focus on renewable energy systems at InnoCit LLC, and Active Front End motor drive at PowerItPerfect Inc.

Shang-Chuan Lee is a Senior Application Engineer specializing in Electrical system and Industrial Automation industries and has been with MathWorks since 2019. Her focus at MathWorks is on building models of electric motor and power conversion systems and then leveraging them for control design, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and embedded code generation. Shang-Chuan holds a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (WEMPEC) specializing in motor controls, power electronics, and real-time simulation.
