Description
ALPAO Core Engine (ACE) is an add-on product for MATLAB® for adaptive optics. ACE helps engineers and researchers integrate adaptive optics into new applications. ACE is based on a modular, open architecture to speed up the process of learning, tuning, and testing adaptive optics systems.
Shipped with ALPAO adaptive optics systems, ACE enables users to quickly build new products or solutions for astronomy, vision science, and microscopy.
ACE enables the user to control hardware devices such as wavefront sensors, deformable mirrors, or imaging cameras directly from MATLAB. ACE’s multithreading capabilities can run servo control loops written in MATLAB and run configuration/monitoring scripts or interactively control the system from the MATLAB console at the same time.
