Running MATLAB together with Psychtoolbox from Ubuntu Terminal

Unfortunately I wasn't able to download Psychtoolbox using NeuroDebian due to an error.
Instead I used the 'DownloadPsychtoolbox.m' script in MATLAB.
So far everything works fine, the only issue I have is that when I launch MATLAB (from Activites or from the Terminal), Psychtoolbox doesn't automatically run, I basically have been overwritting it everytime by using the script mentioned above.
Is there an option to run Psychtoolbox in the Command Window of MATLAB? or can I run them both simultanoesly from the Ubuntu Terminal?
I'm new to Linux and it baffles me that even though Psychtoolbox is downloaded into the MATLAB toolbox folder it still has to be run separately.
