Is this an appropriate way to model the pressure/temperature drop across an elbow joint? Critiques requested

I'm working on modeling pressure changes across elbow joints, and I feel like there might be a better way to accomplish this than what I currently have. I would really appreciate any constructive criticism or critiques you're willing to offer.
