How do ROM sizes for Simulink Autosar generated code compare to hand code?

I've read that ROM sizes for generated code can vary a lot based on how you optimize it, but I haven't seen much in terms of numerical comparisons or percentage overheads.

If I have an application which can take up no more than, say, 600kB, is there any way to estimate how much of that space will be required to account for ROM size overheads of generated code as compared to manual code?
