Generate an executable for multiple versions of Matlab/Simulink

I have created an executable for a simulink model that uses tunable parameters using the rsim.tlc system target file. My problem is that this only works with the version of matlab that the executable is compiled in. I need to find a way to do this but have it work on any version of matlab.

I have tried searching the community but have not found any ways to create an executable that is compatible with all versions of matlab.
